THE LAZY DAISY GUIDE TO FLOWER CARE
1. Trimming the stems
Using flower scissors or a knife without jags (other scissors or knives may crush the stems, making it hard for them to drink), trim about 2cm from the bottom of the stems at an angle. This allows them to drink water easily and keeps them happy and fresh.
Make sure to do this as soon as you receive them, and then repeat every two days.
2. Fresh water
Fill up a clean vase about 1/3 full of cool, fresh water. To enjoy your flowers as long as possible, refresh the water every day or every other day and make sure they always have enough.
If the water starts changing color, it’s better to go back to the start: wash the vase with water and soap, and fill up with fresh water again. It is very important to make sure no leaves are touching the water.
3. Remove withered flowers
Some flowers will live longer than others, so to keep those nice for as long as possible, make sure to remove withered flowers when you’re cutting stems and removing water.
4. Avoid direct sunlight and drafts
5. Enjoy your flowers!
